Megan Whipkey - Floral Designer & Internal Shop Manager

I grew up in Olathe, KS. Shortly after graduation I met the love of my life, Nathan. We've been married 18 years and we have 2 adult children who have kept us very busy. I found Wild Hill by chance one day and have loved it from the moment I first got here. I love getting to showcase my creative talents and learning from the best floral designers. I enjoy every aspect of the floral design process, but the team here is the best part of it all. In my free time I love to cook and enjoy time with my family.

Lauren Johnson - Floral Designer & Assistant Production Manager

I have always loved all things flowers, and after planning my wedding I knew I wanted to work in the wedding industry. Shortly after I graduated high school I attended JCCC's floral program and started my career in floral design. When I discovered Wild Hill I fell in love with the amazing vision and staff. It is such a blessing to create beautiful designs for all of our brides. I love being able to express myself creatively while being a part of making all your floral dreams come to life! In my free time I love to spend time with my husband and puppy, bake all the things, embroider and travel! I can't wait to be a part of your special day!

Miranda Kollmorgen - Marketing Administrator

As a little girl I always dreamed of my wedding day & all the pretty little details. I fell in love with Wild Hill when my own best friends started using them for their big days. When my dream came true of finding my prince charming I knew immediately I had to have Wild Hill. After seeing my beautiful day come to life I had hoped to be a part of the Wild Hill team someday and all the dreams they make come true for each and every bride. I couldn't be more thankful to be in the position I am now.

As a former teacher of 8 years and now Wild Hill Marketing Administrator I can't wait to be a part of the process of making big days come to life. When I am not at Wild Hill I enjoy spending time with my husband and our son, family & friends, eating out at restaurants, gardening & playing with our pup, Beau.

Gabriella Ellis - Marketing Coordinator

I have loved flowers since I was little. My mom was very passionate about flowers and soon it became a passion of mine, too. I loved getting to look through my moms flower magazines, books, and planting flowers with her. Even now she and I love going to nursery's to buy flowers. I know so many flowers because of it but I still bug the florists asking what every flower is just because I love flowers. I love getting to watch them work as well as lending them a helping hand.

I've spent the past several months on Saturdays delivering and making things beautiful. I love getting to see a bride's vision come to life in real time from the time we get there and place everything to when we leave and everyone is gushing over the beautiful flowers—it never gets old!

I love everything about Wild Hill, I hardly can call it work. Honestly, I believe that I have one of the best jobs: being around flowers! The joy that flowers bring people—it just lights up their faces, especially Wild Hill flowers. I am so excited to show you all things Wild Hill in my new role!

Allison Malott - Lead Coordinator

After seeing my sister’s dreams turn into a reality as a Wild Hill bride, I instantly fell in love with the wedding planning process in all of its glory! As her MOH I was able to experience firsthand the dedication of the Wild Hill team and I knew I wanted to be a part of giving that same experience to other couples. My passion for event coordination comes along with my attention to detail, my relationship with clients, and my dedication to creating a seamless day! I have always loved seeing couples celebrate one of their most special days and I cannot wait to be a part of yours!

When I’m not working with the Wild Hill team to make your dreams come true, I work full-time at Ronald McDonald House Charities as the Event and Engagement Coordinator to help keep families close during difficult times. I love spending my free time with my family, trying new restaurants or coffee shops, and in the yoga studio. As a former college soccer player, my dedication and commitment to hard work continues in everything I do each day. With my passion for planning, I am excited to help turn your dreams into a reality!

Mackenzie Abernathy - Lead Coordinator

As a little girl, I was always obsessed with weddings and how magical they are. I would dream of my dress and all the details of my big day. I was a Wild Hill bride and I got to see first hand how dedicated and supportive the entire team is. When the opportunity came to join the team, it was a dream come true. As a former teacher, I love to use my organization and creativity to coordinate an unforgettable wedding for both the bride and groom and their guests. My favorite part of the wedding day is seeing the special relationship the bride has with her father, I cry each time.

When I am not wrangling vendors and bridal parties, I am wrangling my 3 year old son with my daughter on my hip. I enjoy working out, reading, exploring all Kansas City and the suburbs have to offer, then ending my day with a glass of wine and HGTV. I am so excited to work with all the upcoming brides!

McKenna Ulmer - Lead Coordinator

I have been obsessed with weddings for as long as I can remember. I watched all the bridal shows on TLC and always imagined what my big day would be like. When I did get to plan my own wedding, it was a dream come true and I knew I wanted to do it over and over again for other brides!

I got my degree in Event Management at K-State which allowed me several internship opportunities at different hotels. I always thought weddings were way more fun than the corporate events. When my best friend found Wild Hill to coordinate her wedding, she was raving about them to me; so I reached out and here I am now! I love getting to be a part of putting together what is likely the best day of someone’s life!

Outside of weddings, I’m passionate about health & fitness, my faith, gardening with my husband, & outdoor activities with my family
