Lindsay & David: The Mission Theater

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a wedding. Lindsay and David's life is sure to be filled with smiles, belly laughs & late night giggles!

Meet Lindsay & David.

They chose to have their ceremony and reception at the stunning Mission Theater. This venue has been completely renovated, but kept the original 1930's art deco feel with breathtaking chandeliers. Their bridal suite is jaw dropping gorgeous and this is where Lindsay started her day. The groom's suite is equipped with a billiard table, mini fridge and tv to help any groom relax before his big day.

Nestled in downtown Mission, Kansas, The Mission Theater has the neatest corridor where David saw his soon-to-be wife for the first time! (Cue the most smitten couple!!)

Lindsay & David couldn't imagine their happily ever after without their third family member! How precious is their sweet pup donned with a floral "crown"!?

Before saying "I do" the future Arnold's popped around to their favorite Kansas City spots.

Meanwhile, friends and family gather to admire the details of Lindsay & David's big day. With a navy theme throughout, their vision truly brought the space to life. Their ceremony set up consisted of a mixture of traditional seating options and oscar style seating.

Lindsay made her entrance down the theater stairs, following the punniest ring bearers!

Where Lindsay once walked as a single woman, The Arnold's entered the reception together as one.

Mr. & Mrs. Arnold go the party started with their first dance, followed by a not-maid-of-honor-maid-of-honor RAP! Lindsay's father surprised her with a GROUP father/daughter dance where everyone laughed and sang along. Guests laughed, cried, then laughed some more. Okay, let's be real, The Wild Hill Coordination team laughed cried, then laughed some more!

Happiest of ever afters, to infinity & beyond you two!

Shannon & Tyler: 1890 Event Space

At Wild Hill Flowers & Events we fell very blessed to work with the best clients. The sweetest clients. The happiest clients. I know, I know- I say this about every couple I work with. But Shannon & Tyler literally smiled all day. I dare you to find a photo where their face doesn't scream "I just made the best decision of my life." Even when I run into Shannon at workout class she is still smiling...she is a true inspiration.

Meet Shannon and Tyler.

They chose to start their forever at 1890 Event Space. This venue has the most phenomenal grounds. Shannon & Tyler wanted their first look to be when she walked down the aisle, so Shannon was able to have "Sunday Funday" with her gal pals in the bridal HOUSE!

While Tyler and his groomsmen hung out in the Groom's HOUSE!

They incorporated so many sweet details into their day. Shannon's gift to Tyler was his wedding band, which he saw for the first time that morning!

Shannon's Mikaella gown from Altar Bridal was simply stunning.

They were blessed with the most beautiful October day. The moment Tyler saw Shannon will forever be ingrained into my mind. It was the most pure moment and there was no doubt in my mind these two were made for each other.

Post ceremony, the newlyweds utilized cocktail hour to enjoy each other and explore the beautiful grounds at 1890 Event Space. (I told you...absolutely smitten!!)

Shannon & Tyler had the most joyous reception and the BEST shoe game I've ever witnessed. IT was evident they are surrounded by the most loving and supportive family and friends.

Mr. & Mrs. Bollinger, you are absolutely perfect for each other and I am SO excited to see what your future brings.

Nicolette & Oliver: The Bride and the Bauer

Meet #WildHillBride Nicolette and her hubby, Oliver.

OKAY. Are these two the cutest, or are these two the cutest? Seriously. These two were beaming all day and I can't get enough of it!

Nicolette started her day at the Westin at Crown Center where the talented Kristy Shelton did her hair & Gina Ciaccio-Holmberg makeup.

The ladies made their way to The Bride & The Bauer to get dressed because helloooooooo gorgeous bridal suite!

Right across the hall the guys hung out in the groom's suite getting all dolled up in their crazy cool suit/tie/sock combo.

My favorite party of a wedding day took place in what would later be used for cocktail hour at The Bride & The Bauer- can't go wrong with floor to ceiling windows, exposed brick walls & an audience for your first look :)

Nicolette and Oliver took full advantage of the beautiful weather and OH MY Cork Creative took a new spin on the Kansas City hot spots and I am swooning.

Talk about a love story that has conquered all. Oliver is from Wales and was back and forth between the United State and United Kingdom playing rugby. Love overcame all trials & tribulations. Oliver and Nicolette were able to celebrate with all their friends and family and showcase their journey.

I have to say- there ain't no party like  a Jones party! I said it once and I'll say it again...Nicolette and Oliver are one smitten couple and they had the greatest celebration all because #TheBrideStoleTheBrit.

Best wishes to the lovely couple!!

Rylee & Brandon: The Guild

Meet Rylee & Brandon.

Brandon was delivering a UPS package to Rylee's office and it was love at first sight! Well...it took a bit of time for Brandon to work up the courage to ask for Rylee's number, but THEN the rest is history! They have the neatest love story and had the most incredible vision for their big day.

Rylee started her day relaxing with her gal pals at an Airbnb downtown. (PS- What a genius idea to rent an Airbnb for your bridesmaids the night before the wedding!)

Her gown was stunning with it's sweetheart neckline and cascade of buttons.

The fellas hung out at the Ambassador Hotel and decked out in the most epic suits.

My favorite part of a wedding day is the first look. I love the blissful look when a groom sees his bride for the first time and Brandon's reaction sure didn't disappoint.

Another reason I love first looks? It allows time for bonus photos such as this dreamy woodland session!

Rylee added a veil before walking down the aisle and it was the perfect way to complete her ceremony look. Rather than a traditional floral arch, they opted for a wreath they were able to re-purpose at the head table backdrop.

Their fun-filled reception had a pop of copper and a vision that enhanced the art deco feel to The Guild.

Rylee & Brandon decided on an epic commencement to an epic night....and did someone say dress change?!

Well wishes to the happy couple- Rylee & Brandon, you are absolutely perfect for each other!

Green & White Styled Shoot

As wedding professionals, we often get asked if it's hard working a weekend job. Many things come to mind when trying to answer that question:

We adore our clients.

We get to work in the most beautiful spaces.

We get to eat CAKE.

But mostly, it doesn't feel like a job because each weekend we get to work with the most bomb wedding professionals! Working with your friends doesn't make it feel much like work. It is especially fun when we are able to collaborate outside of scheduled weddings to get our creative juices flowing for a styled shoot.

For this green & white inspired shoot, we had the pleasure of checking out 8th & Main in Grandview, MO. We had so much fun getting to see the venue and learn about their history. FUN FACT: this gorg wedding venue used to be a bank; you can get ready with your gals in the old vault!

Styled Shoot-0032.jpg

My favorite addition to this space is the courtyard. Equipped with Edison Bulb string lights, a cozy fire pit & an incredible arbor-it truly is a turn key space!

Adding greenery to the modern horizontal fence created a pop of color and personal touch. Not to mention the bouquet bursting with texture!

Whenever planning an outdoor event it's always stressful having to think about a "plan b", right? Not here! 8th & Main provides three incredible spaces for events- their vault room (pictured above), the courtyard and an indoor reception space...fabric backdrop and all!

Styled Shoot-0012.jpg

We stuck to a green & white theme for the most part, but when brainstorming what sweet we wanted there was no competition against this fluffy pink treat!

So....is working a weekend job hard? Sometimes. But, is it worth it? Abso-freaking-lutely.
